Over a century later, the same traditional moulds and techniques continue to be used in the workshop, preserving the authenticity and charm of each handcrafted piece.
Each bowl is formed in time-honoured moulds that capture the natural, crinkled contours and intricate veining of a cabbage leaf. It is then hand-glazed to enhance its layered texture and rich colour.
