Dimensions: Approximately 28 cm ø x 5 cm height but sizes do vary as each bowl is individually thrown and painted which makes them all unique and dishwasher safe.
Wonki Ware is a range of exclusive dinnerware and tableware that is hand crafted in South Africa through a truly artisanal process that is becoming increasingly rare in an age of automated production.
Every single item is made by hand, from a small salt dish to a generous trough platter. 
No matter how small or big, they each go through the same creative process, which sees the clay moulded, shaped, smoothed and painted during 15 different stages on the journey from clay to table. 
Each piece is a work of art in itself, yet it’s meant to be used and enjoyed, loved and shared, every single day. 
Wonki Ware was founded by Di Marshall, over 20 years ago, in George, a small town on the Garden Route in South Africa. 
The original workforce of 3 has since grown to a team of over 100 people and Di continues to be the creative force that steers this remarkable ship. 
Her enthusiasm is infectious and her humility, in the face of such creative success, is as unique as her wonderful product. 
Wonki Ware has trained up many master potters and in doing so has helped uplift communities.
